Tips/Advice

Hey guys! This week’s tip is how to clean your beauty blender from preventing it from bacteria, bad smell and stains. So, let’s get started!

For those of you who don’t know, a beauty blender looks like this:

Its function is blend out your foundation, concealer or powder, for me it works better than a brush, but it totally depends on your preference.

The things you’ll need to properly clean your beauty blender will be:

  • A cup of water
  • A soap bar

First you took the beauty blender and you put it inside the cup full of water, then you’ll microwave it for 30 seconds. By doing that you’re getting rid of any bacteria that it could have, the way it works is that the heat helps killing the bacteria easily.

Once you’ve done that you leave it to rest for about 10 minutes (until it cooled down). One it does, you take to the sink and grab the soap bar. You’re going to open the tap, then you’ll going to star robbing the beauty blender on the soap bar while it’s under the water. That way the beauty blender is going to clean itself from the inside to the outside. Squish the beauty blender every 10 seconds and then continue the process, repeat it until its completely clean.  I normally clean my beauty blender every week.

I hope you like this week’s tip, until next time guys, Chao! -Hily
